Call for participants to co-create a transparency tool for funders

The BIH QUEST Center is looking for non-commercial funders of clinical trials

The BIH QUEST Center for Responsible Research at Charité — Universitätsmedizin Berlin is inviting non-commercial funders of clinical trials to participate in a co-creation workshop aimed at developing a new tool to support funders’ trial transparency needs.

This initiative is part of a research study exploring how to improve transparency across the clinical trial ecosystem. It builds on a series of interviews with funders and will incorporate perspectives gathered through dedicated workshops with a range of stakeholders, including registries, infrastructure providers, research institutions, and clinical investigators.

The final stage of the project will bring together funders to ideate and prototype a practical solution for supporting trial transparency. Funders with practical, day-to-day experience in clinical trials or trial transparency are especially encouraged to take part.

To accommodate different schedules, two identical workshop sessions will be held:

  • Wednesday, 20 August 2025, 14:00–16:00 CEST
  • Tuesday, 9 September 2025, 14:00–16:00 CEST

Participants are asked to attend one session only and to indicate availability for both dates to help organisers balance participation across the two groups.

For further information or to express interest in participating, please contact the organisers at quest-effectt@bih-charite.de.
